About the Role
We are looking for a driven and intellectually curious AI Process Optimization Analyst to join our team as a high-potential contributor. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between our day-to-day business operations and the rapidly evolving world of AI technologies. You will be embedded across departments, gaining deep visibility into how our organization works, and then applying that knowledge to design smarter, leaner, and AI-augmented workflows. This is not a traditional analyst role. Beyond documenting and measuring processes, you will actively identify where AI agents, automation tools, and intelligent systems can be injected into workflows to multiply team output, reduce friction, and unlock new value. You will work alongside leadership, operations teams, and technology partners to pilot, implement, and continuously improve these solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Process Analysis
• Map end-to-end business processes across departments (operations, sales, customer service, finance, HR, etc.) using industry-standard process mapping tools.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, manual handoffs, and low-value activities that create drag on team productivity or customer outcomes.
• Conduct qualitative interviews and quantitative analysis to build a clear picture of current-state operations.
• Develop and maintain a live process inventory - including process flows, KPIs, owners, and current tooling.
2. AI & Automation Opportunity Identification
• Evaluate each process against a framework of AI readiness: data availability, repetition, decision complexity, and ROI potential.
• Propose specific AI interventions - such as AI agents for task routing, LLM-powered summarization, predictive analytics, or robotic process automation (RPA) - tailored to each business context.
• Build business cases for prioritized AI initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, implementation risk, and expected time-to-value.
• Stay current on the AI technology landscape (agentic AI, LLMs, workflow automation platforms, etc.) and bring relevant innovations to the team's attention.
3. Implementation & Change Management
• Collaborate with technology vendors, internal IT, and external AI partners to design and pilot AI-enhanced workflows.
• Lead or co-lead cross-functional process improvement projects from diagnosis through implementation and stabilization.
• Develop clear standard operating procedures (S-OPs) and training materials to enable team adoption of new, AI-augmented workflows.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement: facilitate workshops, retrospectives, and feedback loops across teams.
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Define and track key metrics for each optimized process - including cycle time, error rate, cost per unit, and AI-specific metrics such as automation rate and handoff accuracy.
• Produce regular reports and dashboards for leadership on operational efficiency gains and AI initiative progress.
• Proactively surface issues and recommend course corrections when performance deviates from targets.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration & Ad Hoc Support
• Work across functions (operations, sales, finance, product, customer success) to understand interdependencies and ensure solutions are end-to-end.
• Support leadership with special projects and ad hoc analytical tasks as required.
• Act as an internal consultant and thought leader on process excellence and AI adoption.

Required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to map, document, and critically evaluate complex multi-step business processes.
• Solid numbers and financial modelling skills: KPIs, cost-benefit analysis, and turning data into decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable with both qualitative reasoning and quantitative data analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - able to present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with productivity and analysis tools (e.g. Excel/Google Sheets, process mapping tools like Lucidchart or [protected info], project management platforms).
Preferred / Strong Plus
• Hands-on experience with AI or automation tools: workflow automation (Zapier, Make, n8n), AI agent frameworks, or LLM APIs.
• Familiarity with AI concepts - prompt engineering, agentic AI workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI-powered analytics - and the ability to evaluate their practical business applicability.
• Experience working with BI or data platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker, SQL) is a plus.
• Background in or exposure to operational roles within the company's business domain.
