General description
Established in 2004 and licensed by the Vietnamese Government, Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) is a private school group with the national education system offering K-12 education programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring a smooth operation of IT system by checking daily.
Checking and maintaining equipment, software, IT facilities.
Providing IT supports to teachers, staff.
Reporting as requested from Central IT Division.
Work in Details:
1. Equipment:
Managing all IT equipment; ensuring that all the campus IT facilities are in good condition and regularly maintained.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing any broken machine or IT equipment such as wireless routers, projectors, smartboards, computers, printers, etc.
Providing, receiving, repairing, charging, and maintaining all campus' laptops.
Proposing the effective procurement of equipment as well as the maintenance and repairing plans for it.
Conducting stock take of IT Devices according to schedule of IT Team leader.
2. Network:
Building an effective network or supervising the network provided by an external supplier to make sure a smooth operation.
Providing guidelines how to use equipment. Fix any issues about Internet or internal network.
Deploy IT Security policies defined by IT HO to campus.
Fixing all wifi problems incurred at campus such as broken wires or system restarting, etc.
3. Software:
Installing and guiding users to use the company's software (admissions, accounting, human resources, academic results, etc.)
Checking and scanning viruses regularly; preparing a backup system.
Supporting students' ICT exams.
Deploy/install, maintain, manage standard applications for staff and students according to approved
list of applications from IT HO.
4. System management:
Monitoring daily: File Server, wireless routers, printers, cameras, and other IT devices; Coordinate with IT Team leader and IT HO to resolve issues.
Regularly reporting the number and condition of laptops and computers at campus to the IT Team
leader.
5. Other duties:
Meeting the demand of using IT equipment of teachers and staff at campus according to IT policies and guidance of VAS.
Supervising IT facilities the usage of them in function rooms.
Support generation of student reports requested by other sections for work purposes (reports, midterm and year-end assessments.)
To fulfil any reasonable additional IT-related responsibilities as requested.
Other tasks as needed at the campus except direct supervision of children.

General requirements:
- Qualification : College/ Bachelor's degree
- Major : Information Technology: System and software
- Experience : At least one (01) year experience in the same position (priority given to
experience with systems)
- English : Good comprehension on IT documents, satisfactory communicative English
- Other requirements: + Configuration (router, switch); MS 365.
+ Having knowledge of internet, internal network, and all teaching equipment at campus.
+ Hardware repair: Detecting and fixing broken equipment.
