JOB DESCRIPTION
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Duration: 3 months, starting September or October 2026
Month 1: Basic coding skills training in front-end / back-end languages (HTML/CSS/JavaScript + Ruby/PHP/Python)
Month 2-3: Join real projects on-site as a Full-stack Developer, mentored directly by experienced engineers. Claude Code provided as your AI coding agent to practice AI-driven development
Opportunity to become a full-time employee in a hybrid working environment after the program
Future opportunity to work at ZIGExN HQ in Japan (6 members have relocated to Japan in the past 3 years)
What you will achieve at ZIGExN VeNtura
Full-stack development skills from front-end to back-end + AI-driven development skills with Claude Code (in 2026, we are going all-in on AI)
Hands-on experience in real products serving high-scale web traffic - mentored directly by experienced & enthusiastic engineers in real projects
Infrastructure skills with GCP / AWS
Understanding of Japanese company workflow, quality standards & culture
Sharpened logical thinking, self-learning and teamwork skills, with a clear vision of your future career path
Our technology: Ruby, PHP, Python, MongoDB, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Solr, Google Cloud, AWS, BigQuery, Claude Code, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have
Graduated (or final-year student) in Information Technology / Computer Science
Basic knowledge of web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and concepts of MVC & OOP
English reading comprehension - able to self-search and learn from English documents
Able to work full-time in a hybrid working environment after the internship
Logical & proactive thinking, strong self-learning mindset
Experience using generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) for learning or coding, or strong motivation to actively leverage AI
Nice to have (not required)
Development experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
Japanese language skills (JLPT N4 - N2 level)
Coding experience in any of: Ruby / PHP / Python / Java / C# / Golang (school or personal projects are welcome)
No professional experience required - if you have the basics and the motivation, we will train you through real projects.
